Everton 'in talks with Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko over transfer'

Everton reportedly open talks with Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko regarding a move to Goodison Park.

Everton have reportedly opened talks with Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko regarding a potential move to Merseyside.

The 27-year-old has attracted plenty of interest following his impressive display for France during the European Championships earlier in the summer.

Sissoko is believed to be keen to leave the Magpies, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, but the club are said to want £35m from the player's suitors.

According to The Mirror, Everton representatives have held a meeting with Sissoko's agent in France regarding a transfer.

The Toffees are reportedly planning to sign two or three more players following the £25m acquisition of Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace.
