Aston Villa midfielder Gary Gardner is hopeful that he and brother Craig Gardner will play alongside each other for England one day.
The pair will be engrossed in a midfield battle with one another on Saturday afternoon as Sunderland visit Villa Park.
It will be the first time that the siblings have been on opposite teams in a competitive match and 19-year-old Gary admits that he would much rather play with Craig than against him.
He said: "People mention the Charlton brothers and the Neville brothers and I'd definitely love to be bracketed with these guys one day.
"You have to aim high. If you're not trying for that, what's the point in playing? Myself and Craig want to play together at the highest level.
"If that could be for England one day, that's what Craig and I will push for. We're the type of lads who will work hard towards that. We're dedicated enough to get there."
Both players have represented the Three Lions at under-21 level.
