Crystal Palace loan winger Jason Lokilo to Lorient

Crystal Palace announce that winger Jason Lokilo will spend the season on loan at French second-tier side Lorient.

Crystal Palace winger Jason Lokilo has been allowed to sign a season-long loan deal with Lorient.

Lokilo has only made one appearance for the first team - against Ipswich Town in last season's EFL Cup - but the 19-year-old is highly regarded at Selhurst Park.

That has resulted in the youngster being allowed to spend the campaign in France with Lorient, who play at the second tier.

Lorient's interest stems from Lokilo impressing in Palace's development side last season, with nine goals being netted in 26 appearances.

Lokilo still has two years remaining on his contract, giving him the chance to try to impress ahead of making a bid for the Eagles first team next summer.
