Marko Marin 'to return to Chelsea after Anderlecht refuse permanent deal'

Marko Marin will reportedly return to Chelsea in the summer as Anderlecht are not interested in signing the winger permanently.

Marko Marin will reportedly return to Chelsea in the summer following a failed loan spell at Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old, who is expected to miss the majority of the remainder of the season due to injury, signed for the Belgian outfit in January.

According to Het Laatste Nieuws, a £4.5m option was available to Anderlecht, but it is understood that the club are not interested in keeping the winger on a permanent basis.

Marin joined Chelsea in 2012, but has failed to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge as he has been loaned out to Sevilla and Fiorentina, as well as Anderlecht.

The winger has two years remaining on his contract with the Blues.
