Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Chelsea.
Casemiro has been contracted to Los Blancos for more than a decade, the 30-year-old having accumulated a total of 326 appearances in all competitions.
However, while the Brazil international has a contract until 2025, it is claimed that the player is currently requesting a pay rise which does not appear to be forthcoming.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea are said to be monitoring the situation as head coach Thomas Tuchel considers shaking up his midfield options.
Although Crystal Palace loanee Conor Gallagher is already expected to feature in the Blues first-team squad next season, there are doubts over the futures of Jorginho and N'Golo Kante.
The report suggests that Casemiro's representatives will hold talks with Los Blancos officials after the Champions League final with Liverpool on May 28.
