Chelsea are understood to be considering offering Frank Lampard a one-year contract extension.
The 34-year-old's agent announced last year that the midfielder would be leaving Stamford Bridge for free in the summer as the club deems him surplus to requirements.
However, the Blues could yet give the England international a 12-month improvement on his current deal, according to The Telegraph.
Lampard, who joined Chelsea in 2001, is two goals away from becoming the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
