Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has insisted that he and his teammates are "training hard" to make sure that they are fit and firing for the new season.
Jose Mourinho's men will attempt to defend their Premier League title after scooping the crown by eight points in the 2014-15 campaign.
The West London outfit are currently in Montreal, Canada for their pre-season tour, which includes games against New York Red Bulls, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
"Training in pre-season is always hard especially when it's hot like it has been here so it's important to have a good rest before the second session," Courtois told the club's official website.
"In pre-season it's all about training, we know that. We all had a nice break after last season but now it's about training hard and making sure we are ready for the new one."
Chelsea will begin the new season at home against Swansea City on August 8.
