Neil Lennon won't rush return to management following Celtic exit

Neil Lennon admits that he is in no rush to return to management after deciding to leave Celtic after four years at Parkhead.

Neil Lennon has revealed that he plans to take his time before embarking on a new coaching job after leaving Celtic on Thursday.

The Northern Irishman stood down as manager of the Scottish champions following four years at Parkhead.

The 42-year-old, who holds ambitions to coach in England, was linked with Norwich City, but that is no longer an option after the Canaries appointed Neil Adams on a three-year contract yesterday.

"It might not be a short-term but a long-term thing," Lennon told reporters. "It's an ambition to be in England, but I need some time to digest it all. Leaving Celtic is a huge wrench. I need to think things over. I'll not rush anything."

Lennon, who guided Celtic to three league titles and two Scottish Cups, has also been linked to the vacancy at West Bromwich Albion.
