Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean hopes that any protests by angry fans will not disrupt his team's performance.

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has stated that he hopes any protests by angry fans will not disrupt his team's performance.

Rovers are currently 19th in the Premier League table having lost their last five games, and it is understood that some sections of Rovers fans will protest against Kean and owners Venky's during Saturday's clash with Norwich City.

"I hope that the protest is small. We have a young team that has certainly performed better when the atmosphere has been hostile towards the opposition and I am hopeful that they will continue to support us," Kean told reporters.

Kean took the reins at Blackburn in 2010.
