Former Atletico Madrid boss Gregorio Manzano is reportedly interested in the vacant manager's position at Blackburn Rovers.

Former Atletico Madrid boss Gregorio Manzano is reportedly interested in the vacant manager's position at Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn parted company with Henning Berg earlier this week, ending the Norwegian's reign at Ewood Park just 57 days after he was appointed.

The club are now searching for their third manager of the season and, according to Sky Sports News, Manzano is keen on a move to England and wants the opportunity to speak with Rovers' Indian owners.

Manzano, 56, has also managed Real Valladolid, Racing Santander, Rayo Vallecano, Mallorca, Malaga and Sevilla during his 29-year coaching career.
