Report: Birmingham City line up David Edgar move?

Birmingham City are reportedly in talks with former Burnley defender David Edgar.

Birmingham City have reportedly been in talks with former Burnley defender David Edgar.

The 27-year-old is in need of a new club this summer following his release by the Clarets a month ago after five seasons at Turf Moor.

According to Sky Sports News, Birmingham are now the frontrunners to sign the 27-year-old Canadian.

The Blues, who stayed in the Championship on the final day of last season, completed the signing of Stephen Gleeson this morning to take their summer transfer tally to three.
