Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes feels that his side's intense preparation helped them on the field in their Champions League win over Juventus.
Goals from David Alaba and Thomas Muller gave Heynckes's team a 2-0 victory over the Italian side, who now take a big advantage into the second leg of their quarter-final clash.
Heynckes told Sky Sports News: "We studied Juventus closely, prepared well for this game and we managed to disturb their game early and take [Italy midfielder] Andrea Pirlo out of the game.
"We have to be happy with the result, it's never easy to beat an Italian side and dominate them.
"It doesn't look so good for Toni, we're waiting for more results of tests, he's an important player for us."
Bayern and Juventus face off again next Wednesday for a place in the last four of the competition.
