Sevilla eye Martin Montoya?

Liverpool will reportedly face competition to sign Barcelona defender Martin Montoya from La Liga outfit Sevilla.

Sevilla are reportedly keen to sign Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya.

Following the recent arrival of Aleix Vidal at Camp Nou, as well as Dani Alves's decision to sign a new two-year deal, it is expected that Montoya will be made available for transfer this summer.

The 24-year-old has long been linked with Premier League side Liverpool, but the Merseysiders will now face competition for his signature from Sevilla, according to Marca.

It is believed that the Barca academy graduate, who is contracted to the Catalans until 2018, will command a transfer fee in the region of £5m.
