Andre Gomes is confident that he will 'grow as a player' during his time with Barcelona.
The Portuguese international was linked with a number of clubs this summer after impressing during his time with Valencia, but Barcelona won the race to sign the 22-year-old.
The central midfielder has claimed that he has "chosen the best club" for his own development and says that it will be "an honour and privilege" to represent the Spanish champions.
"I have chosen the best club for me. It is an honour and a privilege to wear this shirt. I am 22 and I want to grow. I have come to learn. Here, I have many references. Barca relates to my way of playing football and to my identity," Gomes told reporters at his official unveiling.
It is understood that Barcelona paid just under £42m to bring Gomes to Camp Nou.
