RB Leipzig have reportedly moved to the front of the queue in the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
For the past few weeks, Arsenal are understood to have been leading the chase for the highly-rated Hungarian, who has thrived for club and country over the past couple of years.
However, the 20-year-old's stellar performances means that he is naturally attracting interest from top clubs across the globe, and the Gunners appear to have a fight on their hands to land Szoboszlai next year.
According to Football Insider, Leipzig have stolen a march on North London pair Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Szoboszlai's signature, with the Hungary international contracted to Salzburg until 2022.
The report claims that Leipzig could tempt Szoboszlai to move to the Bundesliga by agreeing a deal in January, and the midfielder would stay put at Salzburg until the summer of 2021.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, AC Milan and Leicester City have also been credited with an interest in Szoboszlai, who boasts five goals and nine assists for Salzburg in the 2020-21 campaign.
