Lukas Fabianski has revealed that he is relishing the battle with Wojciech Szczesny to become the first-choice goalkeeper at Arsenal.
Fabianski enjoyed a rare run in the side during March and April before a rib injury allowed his fellow Pole back into the starting lineup.
"I'm hoping that it's going to go my way," the 27-year-old told the club's official website. "I feel that I'm a better keeper than I was, I feel really confident in myself.
"I put in a lot of work to be fit again, to be stronger. I'm not worried about anything and I think I've made a statement that I'm up for it."
Fabianski, who joined Arsenal from Legia Warsaw in 2007, has made five appearances in all competitions this season.
