Arsene Wenger will reportedly drop Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla from Arsenal's starting lineup against Bayern Munich tonight.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly field a weakened team against Bayern Munich in the Champions League this evening with one eye on Swansea City this weekend.

The Gunners will need to overturn a 3-1 deficit in order to progress into the quarter-finals of the elite competition.

While Jack Wilshere, Bacary Sagna and Lukas Podolski have already been ruled out, it is understood that Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla will be demoted to the bench, according to the Daily Mail.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Francis Coquelin have been tipped to replace the duo in tonight's starting XI.

The reported omissions are thought to be due to Wenger's priority of clinching a place in Europe, from which they are five points adrift, next season.
