Bayern Munich's Philipp Lahm "really surprised" Arsenal lost to Dinamo Zagreb

Bayern Munich star Philipp Lahm admits that he was "really surprised" when Arsenal lost to Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League opener.

Bayern Munich star Philipp Lahm has admitted that he was shocked to learn that Arsenal had suffered defeat at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb in their opening Champions League game.

Arsene Wenger's side recorded a 2-1 loss in Croatia, and also lost Olivier Giroud to a red card.

This evening, Pep Guardiola's Bayern side will take on Dinamo at the Allianz Arena in Germany.

"Dinamo are very comfortable at home," Lahm told reporters. "They have a good group of fans, they're difficult to defeat. The defeat of Arsenal in Zagreb really surprised me. At first I thought it was a mistake."

The next two rounds of Champions League fixtures will see Bayern and Arsenal go head to head.
