West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke believes that his side's lack of cutting edge in front of goal was the reason for their defeat to Swansea City.
The Baggies fell to their second loss of the Premier League season as goals from Ben Davies and Pablo Hernandez condemned them to defeat at The Hawthorns.
Clarke told the club's official website: "We showed today we can play some good football. We knocked the ball around well and I thought it was a good passing game between two teams that could pass the ball and try to play football in the right way.
"Swansea on the day had a little bit more of a cutting edge than we did – and I think that was the difference.
"There were couple of chances we had before they scored - and if they go in it's a different game."
West Brom are currently bottom of the Premier League after three games this season.
