Watford secure the signing of Uche Ikpeazu from Reading on a three-year contract.

Watford technical director Gianluca Nani has revealed that the club "are very pleased" to secure the signing of Uche Ikpeazu from Reading.

The 18-year-old, who departed the Royals at the end of last season, has signed a three-year contract with the Championship outfit.

"We are very pleased Uche is joining us at Watford. At 18 he is still young, but he's a very bright prospect and we're looking forward to seeing him progress under Gianfranco Zola," Nani told the club's official website.

Ikpeazu scored 28 goals for Reading's youth team last season.
