Harry Redknapp says that Milos Krasic will not be joining Tottenham Hostpur on loan while Steven Pienaar will stay at the club despite interest from Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that a potential move for Juventus midfielder Milos Krasic will not go ahead.

Spurs had agreed a loan deal with the Italian giants for Krasic but the Serbian winger was only prepared to leave Juve on a permanent basis.

Redknapp, who oversaw Spurs's 3-1 victory over Wigan Athletic tonight, also revealed that Steven Pienaar will not be leaving the club.

The South African midfielder was rumoured to be a loan target of former club Everton but any deal was scuppered by Krasic's refusal to move to White Hart Lane.

Furthermore Redknapp stated that he wanted to retain the players services due to Spurs's growing injury problems in the middle of the park.

Both Aaron Lennon and Sandro missed tonight's match while Rafael van der Vaart also limped off with a calf strain.
