Manchester United 'still focused on Jadon Sancho signing'

Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho is still top of Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's transfer wishlist ahead of the summer window, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho reportedly remains Manchester United's primary transfer target after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that he is eager to add to his squad.

United are believed to have been dealt a blow earlier this week with news that Dortmund are not looking to cash in on the England international this summer.

The Evening Standard claims that Sancho is still top of Solskjaer's list of targets for the next transfer window, however, despite his nine-figure valuation.

Speaking to Sky Sports News on Friday, Solskjaer confirmed that he is looking to provide his current attackers with some competitions next season if possible.

"I think Mason [Greenwood], Anthony [Martial] and Marcus [Rashford] have been fantastic this season - they've scored up to 50 goals between them," he said.

"Marcus got his injury, on course for his best season, Anthony too, and Mason of course is just a unique talent with his goal-scoring ability.

"But we're always looking to improve the squad. This uncertainty in the market now, who knows how football and the market is going to be, but I'm very happy with the squad I've got.

"Today's world is different to what it was two months ago. We've got to adjust, adapt, there's clubs out there struggling more than us financially. It's a new world, and I think the transfer market this summer will be completely different to what anyone thought it would be."

United have also been tipped to move for Timo Werner and Moussa Dembele, who have impressed for RB Leipzig and Lyon respectively this season.
