Luke Shaw hails "special" Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw heaps praise on the impact Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made at the club since his arrival this summer.

Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw has praised the impact made by Zlatan Ibrahimovic since his arrival at the club.

The 34-year-old Swede joined United on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer having established himself as a club legend during a trophy-laden four-year stint in France.

Ibrahimovic has made a bright start to life in England too, scoring four goals in as many games, and Shaw revealed that he has also made a difference behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

"He's been really good. His aura... his presence. Jose [Mourinho] said it - he's always around the younger lads, bringing that experience in for everyone. For me to have someone like that with that experience, to talk to and learn from his experience... that's special," Shaw told reporters.

"He's got good stories as well. Sitting at the dinner table, he tells a lot of jokes, but he wants the best from everyone as well. He's focused on himself and the team, but he wants to do the best he can and get the best out of us players, too.

"He doesn't miss anything. He sees it all and, if you're not putting the effort in, he'll tell you."

Shaw is currently on international duty with England and could make his first appearance for his country in almost a year during Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
