Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Robin van Persie all start for Manchester United in an attacking team to play CFR Cluj.

Sir Alex Ferguson has fielded an attacking lineup for Manchester United's second Champions League group stage fixture against CFR Cluj.

The Scot has started with three strikers - Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Robin van Persie - while Tom Cleverley and Anderson are expected to provide support.

Darren Fletcher continues his return from a bowel condition as the midfield anchor.

There are no surprises in defence as Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans and Patrice Evra form the back four. David de Gea is preferred to Anders Lindegaard in goal.

Cluj's two-goal hero against Braga, Rafael Bastos, starts in midfield for the home side.

Cluj: Felgueiras; Pinto, Sepsi, Cadu, Rada; Aguirregaray, Muresan, Bastos, Camora; Kapetanos, Sougou

Man Utd: De Gea; Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra; Anderson, Fletcher, Cleverley; Rooney, Hernandez, Van Persie
