Adam Lallana aiming for "double figures"

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is hoping to reach double figures this season after grabbing his first goal of the season on Saturday.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has targeted reaching double figures for the season after claiming his first goal for the club against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

The former Southampton captain opened the scoring as the Reds beat the Baggies 2-1 at Anfield, and he told the Liverpool Echo that he wants to get on the scoresheet more this term.

He said: "It was a proud moment and a bit of relief. I got nine in the league last season so it would be nice to get double figures.

"We have got to chip in, the likes of me, Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling. We know we've all got to chip in and get goals. If we do that, we'll find ourselves winning a lot more games."

The Reds travel to Queens Park Rangers after the international break.
