Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Mallorca.

Barcelona will have the chance to move top of La Liga when they travel to Mallorca on Saturday.

The Catalans head into the weekend two points behind league leaders Real Madrid, who do not play until Sunday evening, with the two sides meeting at Camp Nou in two weeks' time.

Xavi's side have won five league games in a row, scoring 18 goals in six league matches and only conceding one. Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Mallorca, who are 10th with eight points.

Memphis Depay

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 23 (vs. Athletic Bilbao)

Memphis Depay limped off seven minutes into the second half of Netherlands' 2-0 victory away to Poland last week, with the forward suffering an injury to his thigh muscle.

It seems unlikely that Depay will return in time for El Clasico on October 16, with a return the following weekend a more likely proposition.

Frenkie De Jong

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 23 (vs. Athletic Bilbao)

Like his compatriot Depay, Frenkie De Jong was withdrawn at half time of Netherlands' 2-0 win in Poland due to a thigh injury, so a similar return date seems likely for the midfielder.

Ronald Araujo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Ronald Araujo underwent surgery on his thigh earlier this week in Finland, meaning that the defender is unlikely to play for his club prior to the World Cup beginning in November.

Jules Kounde

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 16 (vs. Real Madrid)

Jules Kounde picked up an issue to his hamstring in France's 2-0 win over Austria last Thursday, but the defender's injury is not thought to be as serious as the aforementioned ones, meaning that he may return in time for El Clasico.

Hector Bellerin

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 23 (vs. Athletic Bilbao)

Hector Bellerin picked up a calf injury in training on Tuesday, and he seems likely to miss a few weeks of first-team action as a result.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barcelona have no suspensions for Saturday's match against Mallorca.
