Atletico Madrid's Borja Baston 'to have medical today ahead of Swansea move'

Borja Baston is reportedly due to undergo a medical today ahead of a £15m move to Swansea City from Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston is in the final stages of his transfer to Swansea City as he is reportedly due to undergo a medical today.

The 23-year-old is expected to become Swansea's club-record signing, worth in the region of £15m.

According to BBC Sport, Baston, who found the back of the net 18 times in La Liga during a loan spell at Eibar last season, will have medical tests today before signing a four-year deal.

The club's previous record fee was £12m, which was paid to Vitesse in 2013 for striker Wilfried Bony.

Baston will follow Fernando Llorente through the welcome gates at the Liberty Stadium following the Spaniard's switch from Sevilla on Friday.
