Report: Arsenal to move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko

Arsenal are reportedly considering a £10m summer swoop for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The 26-year-old's future at St James' Park is in doubt after the club were relegated from the Premier League, along with Aston Villa and Norwich City.

Sissoko was made captain by manager Rafael Benitez in the last few months of the season, but he may be lured away with the promise of top-flight football.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal have kept tabs on Sissoko for some time and could seal his signature for around £10m.

Sissoko joined the Magpies from Toulouse in 2013.
