Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has edged closer to an exit from the Premier League club this summer, according to a report.
The Frenchman has endured a difficult time with the North-London side since being brought to the club for around £53m in the summer of 2019.
Following the arrival of Antonio Conte at Spurs back in November, the 25-year-old found his playing time further limited, and was sent out on loan to former side Lyon in January as a result.
That loan deal has come to an end now, but according to Telefoot, Ndombele is closing in on another exit from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The report suggests that an unnamed Spanish club is in advanced negotiations to sign the midfielder this summer, although it is unclear at this stage whether the move would be another loan move or a permanent transfer.
Lyon did have the option to trigger a permanent return to the Ligue 1 club via a €65m (£55.5m) clause included within his loan deal, but Peter Bosz's side have opted against that option, leaving Ndombele's future in limbo once again.
Since making the move to Spurs in 2019, Ndombele has gone on to feature in 91 games for the club across all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
