Leeds United reportedly tell Tottenham Hotspur that they will have to pay £20m to sign forward Jack Clarke.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been told that they will have to pay £20m to sign Leeds United forward Jack Clarke.

Spurs are being linked with a number of domestic players, and an approach for youngster Clarke has been touted for a number of weeks.

However, according to The Mirror, the North London outfit will have to spend a significant portion of their transfer budget in order to bring in the 18-year-old.

Clarke was used on 24 occasions by Marcelo Bielsa in the Championship this season, although 20 of those outings came from the substitutes' bench.

The prospect has just two years remaining on his contract, leaving the Yorkshire giants in a position where they may have to consider a sale.
