Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that he may not make any new signings during the January window.
The club's rivals in the Premier League have either already conducted some major business in the transfer market, or are being heavily linked with a significant addition before the end of the month.
However, while Pochettino has revealed that the club is "working behind the scenes", the Argentine has suggested that he will only sign a player if it makes sense in the long term.
The 45-year-old told reporters: "I'm not concerned, I'm not worried. We're working. We're awake to the market.
"If something is available on terms we can take, of course we'll do it. But if not, no.
Earlier this week, Spurs allowed Georges-Kevin N'Koudou to move to Burnley on a loan deal.
