Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is 'unsure' how far the French club will progress in the Champions League this season.

The Ligue 1 outfit invested heavily in the summer and their newly-assembled squad has risen to the top of the French table in the early stages of the season.

They currently sit second in their European group following a defeat against Porto last time out and Ancelotti has remained coy on their aims.

"We want to go to the next round of the Champions League, but I do not know what we can do in this competition. I trust, and I hope we can go far," Ancelotti told reporters.

PSG face Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday.
