Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has hailed his side's victory over Reims in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
Kevin Gameiro's goal in the second half at Parc des Princes proved to be decisive, as the Parisian outfit carved out a 1-0 win.
"This is a great victory, for it has lifted us up to [joint] first place," said Ancelotti. "I expected [the match] to be difficult and am, therefore, happy because we still won.
"It was a more complicated affair due to the recent international break. The first half was not so good, but we created chances in the second period with intensity and speed, and therefore deserved to win."
PSG are in pole position in Ligue 1 ahead of Marseille on goal difference at the moment.
