Sunday's Primeira Liga predictions including Famalicao vs. Porto

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Famalicao vs. Porto.

Portimonense vs. Gil Vicente (Sunday, 3.30pm)

Early league leaders Gil Vicente travel to Portimonense on Sunday in gameweek two of the Primeira Liga campaign.

Both sides finished in the bottom half of the table last season, and Portimonense only finished one point above the relegation playoff spot, so they will be aiming for improvement this year.

We say: Portimonense 1-2 Gil Vicente

Both sides may have picked up three points on the opening day but Gil Vicente's performance and result was more dominant than Portimonense, who only registered one shot on target.

Portimonense's victory last week demonstrates the side's efficiency, but the away side on Sunday are expected to take advantage of having more possession against Portimonense.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Famalicao vs. Porto (Sunday, 6.00pm)

Last season's runners-up Porto travel to Famalicao on Sunday in gameweek two of the Primeira Liga, looking to build an unbeaten start to the campaign.

The Portuguese giants come up against a side which has had two successful seasons back in the top flight, with Famalicao finishing sixth and ninth in the previous couple of campaigns.

We say: Famalicao 0-2 Porto

Porto will understand the importance of taking maximum points from as many games as possible as a chase for the league title is likely to be heavily influenced by the team that can go the whole season only losing one or two games.

Famalicao finished ninth last season and have already lost a game this season, meaning that Porto are strong favourites for this game and the experience and quality of their players should seal victory on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Santa Clara vs. Moreirense (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Santa Clara play host to Moreirense at the Estadio de Sao Miguel in round two of the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Sunday.

This is the second meeting between the sides in the space of a month following a 3-0 victory for Santa Clara when they faced off in a pre-season friendly on July 14.

We say: Santa Clara 2-1 Moreirense

Despite their opening-day defeat, Santa Clara head into Sunday's game as the more in-form side, having already picked up several wins in their Conference League and League Cup qualifiers. We are tipping them to come out victorious as they take on an out-of-sorts Moreirense side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
