Newcastle United have announced the signing of winger Florian Thauvin from Marseille on a five-year contract.
The Frenchman becomes the club's fifth addition of the summer, after completing a deal worth in the region of £12m.
The 22-year-old scored 15 times in two seasons for Marseille, and will wear the number 20 at his new club.
He told their official website: "I am delighted to be a Newcastle United player. I have come from France to a really big club and am very happy to be here.
"It is a big honour to know that Newcastle have been after me for such a long time and that they wanted me that much. They have put their trust in me and I am looking forward to playing for the team."
Newcastle midfielder Remy Cabella has gone to Marseille on a season-long loan as part of the deal.
