Middlesbrough sign Yanic Wildschut from Heerenveen

Middlesbrough complete the signing of Yanic Wildschut from Heerenveen on a two-year deal.

Middlesbrough have completed the signing of winger Yanic Wildschut from Heerenveen for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at the Riverside Stadium, with the option of a further year.

Wildschut, who has won 10 caps for the Netherlands Under-21s, came through the ranks at Ajax before joining FC Zwolle in 2010.

He has made 101 appearances for Zwolle, VVV Venlo, Den Haag and Heerenveen during his career.

Wildschut has become Boro manager Aitor Karanka's ninth signing of the summer.
