Manchester United have reportedly not given up hope of signing Lazio playmaker Felipe Anderson.
Speculation claimed that the Red Devils had a bid of around £30m rejected for the Brazilian towards the end of the most recent summer transfer window.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, United manager Louis van Gaal has remained keen on the 22-year-old and has considered submitting a second offer in January.
The report adds, though, that Van Gaal and United could face competition from Bayern Munich, who have monitored Anderson's progress over recent months.
The attacker has scored five goals from his 13 appearances in all competitions this term.
