Leicester City are reportedly lining up a move for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare in a deal worth £35m, amid interest from Manchester City, Manchester United and AC Milan.
The 22-year-old has helped Lille to the top of Ligue 1, one point clear of French giants Paris Saint-Germain with three games to play, and if Christophe Galtier's side can remain at the summit they will claim their first league title since 2011.
Soumare has attracted the interest of many clubs in Europe and the Foxes are looking to negotiate a favourable transfer fee and capitalise on the youngster's contract ending in 2022.
The Daily Mail reports that Brendan Rodgers will look to strengthen his squad as they close in on a top-four finish in the Premier League, currently seven points clear of Tottenham Hotspur in fifth with four games to play.
Galtier has praised his defensive midfielder's attitude after he turned down offers to move on from Lille in January and has focused on his own development.
The France Under-21 international joined Lille in 2017 from PSG's youth system and has gone on to make 109 appearances for the club.
