How Manchester United could line up against Club Brugge

Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up for the second leg of their Europa League last-32 tie with Club Brugge on Thursday.

Manchester United will be looking to maintain their positive run of form when they take on Club Brugge in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in six matches in all competitions, including a 1-1 draw against Brugge in the first leg of their last-32 tie last week.

Anthony Martial netted for United to cancel out Emmanuel Bonaventure's opener, leaving it all to play for at Old Trafford.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may set out his side.

Paul Pogba is still not ready for a return to the squad and Marcus Rashford is in a battle to be fit again before the end of the campaign.

There is some positive injury news for United, though, as Scott McTominay returned from a two-month layoff as a second-half substitute in the 3-0 win over Watford on Sunday.

McTominay was a key figure for United before picking up an untimely injury and could return to the starting XI here, with Andreas Pereira a contender to join him in defensive midfield.

Odion Ighalo has made three substitute appearances since arriving on loan in January and his wait for a full debut is expected to go on, with Martial ready to go again.

Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard will be hoping for a recall to the squad after being overlooked entirely at the weekend, while Brandon Williams, Sergio Romero, Eric Bailly and Juan Mata are also back in contention.
