Jonathan Douglas is on the brink of joining Ipswich Town from Brentford this summer, according to reports.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who played regular first-team football last season, was told that he can leave the club by new coach Marinus Dijkhuizen last week as he does not feature in his plans.
Sky Sports News claims that Ipswich have accelerated their move for the player, who has agreed a one-year deal at Portman Road, while a medical took place yesterday.
Douglas scored 17 goals in 187 appearances for the West London side.
