Team News: Sean Scannell fit to start against Blackburn Rovers

Sean Scannell is fit to start Huddersfield Town's fixture with Blackburn Rovers.

Huddersfield Town midfielder Sean Scannell has shaken off a hamstring injury to take his place against Blackburn Rovers.

Chris Powell leaves goalkeeper Alex Smithies out of his starting lineup after the former England Under-19 international recently became a father.

Hope Akpan continues his wait for his Blackburn debut after Gary Bowyer named the midfielder among his substitutes.

However, Modou Barrow is handed his first start and striker Jordan Rhodes returns to the lineup.

Huddersfield Town: Murphy; Smith, Davidson, Hudson, Lynch; Whitehead, Hogg, Scannell, Butterfield; Miller, Wells.
Subs: Allinson, Cranie, Wallace, Bunn, Hiwula, Dempsey, Hammill.

Blackburn Rovers: Raya; Henley, Hanley, Duffy, Olsson; Barrow, Lowe, Guthrie, Conway Marshall; Rhodes.
Subs: Steele, Spurr, Kilgallon, Delfouneso, Koita, Williamson, Akpan.
