Chris Powell: 'Draw was a fair result'

Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell admits that his team's goalless draw with Brighton was the right outcome.

Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell has admitted that his side's 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion was a fair result.

The Terriers extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to four games last night as they shared the spoils with the Seagulls at the Amex Stadium.

Both teams had chances to win the match, but a lack of finishing saw the contest end all square.

"On the balance of play, maybe a point apiece was right – although we could have possibly nicked it," Powell told the club's official website. "Sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth. We did have spells, but maybe the extra day's rest Brighton had helped them."

Huddersfield continue their league campaign on Saturday when they host promotion-chasing Derby County.
