Jason Puncheon slams Neil Warnock on Twitter

Jason Puncheon hits out at former manager Neil Warnock on Twitter.

Crystal Palace on-loan winger Jason Puncheon has unleashed a Twitter attack on one of his former managers Neil Warnock.

The 27-year-old, who played under Warnock at Queens Park Rangers in 2011, is believed to have responded to criticism targeted at him by the ex-manager, who was speaking on radio station talkSPORT.

Puncheon, who missed a penalty during Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, has hit out at Warnock's methods as manager.

Reports have claimed that Warnock, who stepped away from coaching after leaving Leeds United last April, claimed that he would not have trusted Puncheon to take a penalty.

Puncheon wrote on Twitter: "What I won't accept is an opinion from a man who's crooked and ruining the game @talkSPORTLive NEIL WARNOCK the man who signs players... Gives them extra wages n app bonus to make sure they pay him to get in the team or on the bench..

"The fact he could even talk about training is shocking he was never there... Everything else is banter and opinions and as a man I will live with that which is fine but I will not live with his opinion."

Puncheon, who is currently on the books at Southampton, has since deleted the tweets.
