Juventus "very likely" to sign Juan Cuadrado

Juventus are confident that they can sign Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado on a permanent transfer in the future, according to the club's director Giuseppe Marotta.

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that the Serie A champions are confident they can sign Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado on a permanent deal.

The Colombian has made 10 appearances for the Old Lady in all competitions so far, and Marotta believes that they can get a move finalised, despite not having a clause within the deal to buy the winger outright.

The 58-year-old said at the club's shareholders' meeting: "We have no right of redemption, at Chelsea's request, Cuadrado has expressed his happiness at being here with us, as well as [his wish] to continue here in future.

"We will look at things with Chelsea at the appropriate time, but it is very likely that there will be a good conclusion."

Cuadrado joined Chelsea in January but joined Juventus in the summer for the 2015-16 season after struggling to hold down a starting role with the Premier League champions.
