Harry Redknapp: 'I've got a harder job than Jose Mourinho'

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp feels that his job in trying to guide his side to Premier League survival is harder than Jose Mourinho's at Chelsea.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp believes that he has a harder job than Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The R's recorded their second win of the season in their clash against Aston Villa on Monday to alleviate the pressure on the 67-year-old following their poor start to the campaign.

Redknapp feels that his task of keeping QPR in the Premier League is harder than what Mourinho will face in trying to guide Chelsea to the title this season.

He told reporters: "I think it's tougher for me to finish 17th than for Jose to win the title with his team. Every year I look at the Manager of the Year awards. When I see the people who win it at the big clubs I think it should be given to a Tony Pulis or a Steve Bruce.

"It's too easy to vote for one of the teams that have got everything. But there are only a few teams who can win the league. This season there was Chelsea, City and maybe Arsenal.

"Jose's proved that he's a fantastic manager wherever he has been. You don't go and win Champions Leagues like he has unless you're a top manager, but to be a top manager it helps if you have top players."

QPR face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in their Premier League clash later today.
