Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has backed Chelsea youngster Mason Mount to become a successful player for the Blues.
The 20-year-old has been heavily involved in Frank Lampard's side at Stamford Bridge this season after enjoying an impressive loan spell under the latter's tutelage at Derby County last term.
Mount has started on six occasions for the Blues so far this season, claiming goals against Leicester City, Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Speaking about his new England teammate ahead of the two sides' meeting at Stamford Bridge this weekend, Henderson told The Mirror: "They've got huge potential with the likes of Mason already training for England, I can see he's got the right mentality to play football.
"Technically he's very good. Everyone can see that he's hungry to be a very good player and is a very exciting prospect. He's started the season very well along with Tammy [Abraham]."
The attacking midfielder was also handed his England debut by Gareth Southgate during a 4-0 win over Bulgaria earlier this month.
Mount will not feature against Jurgen Klopp's side on Sunday, however, after he picked up a nasty injury during Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday.
