A report claims that Demba Ba will recover from an ankle injury to feature for Chelsea against Manchester City on Sunday.

Chelsea are confident that they will have Demba Ba available for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.

The Senegal international was substituted at half time during his side's 2-1 victory over Sunderland at the weekend with an ankle injury.

However, despite reports that he could miss a number of weeks, the Blues medical staff feel that the 27-year-old will have recovered in time for the trip to Wembley, according to BBC Sport.

He will play no part in the Europa League against Rubin Kazan on Thursday because he is cup-tied.
