Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is believed to have picked up a muscular injury in his side's 4-1 win over Almeria in the league on Sunday evening.
However, according to Marca, the knock will not prevent the 26-year-old from joining up with the Spain squad ahead of Wednesday's international friendly against Italy.
The same report has claimed that Fabregas will be assessed by Barcelona's medical staff over the next couple of days, but the injury is not thought to be serious.
Fabregas has scored 13 times in 86 appearances for his country.
