Arsenal have reportedly agreed a fee with Montpellier for the purchase of Olivier Giroud.
The 25-year-old's form in front of goal last season for the French champions is believed to have attracted the attention of a number of clubs, including Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger appears to have won the race to acquire the services of his fellow Frenchman, according to Al Jazeera.
Giroud found the net on 21 occasions in Ligue 1 last season.
He was one of five players that Sports Mole tipped to shine at Euro 2012 this summer.
