Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Naughton red-card appeal dismissed

Tottenham Hotspur lose their appeal against the red card shown to Kyle Naughton on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur have failed in their appeal against the red card shown to Kyle Naughton on Sunday.

The 26-year-old defender was shown a straight red card for a professional foul on Stoke City's Victor Moses in the final 10 minutes of the match at White Hart Lane.

An independent regulatory commission reviewed the incident and decided that it was the correct decision by referee Mike Jones.

Naughton will serve a two-game ban, missing the Premier League fixtures against Hull City and Everton, as it was his second dismissal of the season.
